JORDAN DIOW, stage name of Pascal Duthuin, former head of a high-tech company (Lithium Espace Mobiles), president of the artistic association ◄۞16/9 Productions۞►, is an actor, singer-songwriter and internationally award-winner director whose unique style blends poetry, rock music and art-house cinema with an experimental and conceptual artistic approach that fuses technical rigor and narrative depth. A French national, he was born in Besançon and resides in L'Isle-Adam, Val d'Oise.

“ Originally from Franche-Comté, a land of snow and ruggedness, born to a Swiss mother and a French father, educated in Besançon, a historic city imbued with the aura of Victor Hugo and the Lumière Brothers, I grew up surrounded by and in the combined admiration of the works of Gustave Courbet and the Master Watchmakers who made the city famous throughout Europe. After obtaining a baccalaureate in literature with honors and then a year of wandering in an economics program, I studied filmmaking techniques at the CLCF (Conservatoire libre du cinéma français), which awarded me a BTS (Advanced Vocational Diploma), then its more volatile aspects, history and theory, at the University of Paris-VIII. I soon discovered other artistic disciplines, which I learned on my own, particularly the visual arts during the two years I worked as a salesman for the Graphigro chain. And, as a seasoned traveler, enriched by a long stay in India, I then strove to forge a personal creative path through the enclaves of video production, drawing on a multitude of graphic, photographic, musical, and literary experiences. I call this particular journey the 'encyclopedic temptation'. “

Nous sommes tous des océans travaillés par de redoutables lames de fond qui, parfois, à la faveur d'un banc de corail ou d'un récif, donnent naissance à de formidables vagues : franco-suisse d'origine, valdoisien d'adoption, connu sous maints pseudonymes mais jamais épinglé, humanopolygraphe pour ne pas dire artiste, technicien ou chef d'entreprise, l'auteur s'affaisse devant ta face et jamais, ô grand jamais ne s'efface devant ta fesse.
